With roots in Scotland, Newfoundland and Georgian Bay, we blend traditional instrumentation with humour, artistry and history to tell Canadian stories, our stories and even YOUR stories in original ways.
We’re Great Big Sea having a dram too many with Stan Rogers. We’re Gordon Lightfoot meets “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” We’ll make you stomp your feet and we might also make you cry.
But, no matter what, we WILL have a great time with you!

The Rusticators stage is an intimate house concert stage that comfortably seats an audience of 30. Located in Peterborough near the historic Lift Locks and hosted by owners Victoria Yeh and Trevor Hesselink, the home was built to Passive House sustainability standards and designed to be both a home and a community gathering space where neighbours, friends and colleagues can share ideas, inspiration, music and more.

This stage is dedicated in loving memory to Herm and Jane Hesselink, who fostered the “Rusticators Outdoors Club” for kids in Peterborough.
